With the new G-Lifter 160, we are introducing an ingenious semi-axis vectoring system ,designed primarily as a takeoff and landing aid. It is compatible with our 160–240N jet pipes (112 mm diameter) as well as other thrust tubes of similar size. Using the included linkage, a servo extends a spherical deflector lip that redirects the exhaust stream upwards, thereby lifting the aircraft's nose. This is particularly useful for delta-wing jets (such as the Mirage or Eurofighter) or for jets that are reluctant to rotate — whether due to landing gear geometry or unavoidable nose-heaviness during takeoff. Additionally, the nose can be pitched up during landing. But the G-Lifter offers even more: by mixing its movement with elevator input, it enables flight maneuvers that would otherwise be impossible. The ultra-light G-Lifter 160 features an aerodynamically optimized, spherical lip, that ensures high efficiency while allowing for precise, sensitive adjustment—ranging from very subtle to extreme. This retrofit vectoring system mounts to the underside of the jet pipe (attaching to an existing bulkhead). When retracted, it does not protrude from the model and does not compromise the scale appearance.
The system is supplied with all necessary mounting and linkage hardware;the only additional item required for the linkage is a carbon fiber rod to extend the pushrod.
Weight: 36 grams, including mounting and linkage hardware.
