These extra long jet pipes are partly double walled and two parted / detachable, being light and strong. They are are extensively reinforced to handle big engines. An example for this kind of jet pipe is the jet pipe F86XXL, that you find here in the shop.
Note, that these pipes can not be ordered through the shop system, we tailormake them, fitting to your needs.
The shown price here in the shop is only an example for a pipe with 1350mm length.
Each pipe comes with fixing materials for an easy and fast installation.The standard diametre for this size of jet pipe is 112 mm (rear end, outside diameter). Please check the space in your model BEFORE your order !
As the turbine reaches inside the aluminium inlet of the pipe, the total length/order length of your pipe needs to be calculated as follows:
Measure from turbine exhaust cone to the end of the plane`s nozzle = measure "L"
"L" PLUS 45 mm = total length of pipe = order length
Example: you have a 230 N engine and measure a distance of 1300 mm from your turbine exhaust cone to the end of the model, you add 45 mm and will have to order a pipe with a length of 1345 mm.

Please note, that the indication "160+N", that names this jet pipe thrust class, only applies to ideal circumstances. A very long jet pipe, or a jet pipe that runs under unfavourable conditions, might not have the needed strength and requires extra strengthening. We can reinforce your jet pipe at extra costs. Please call us and ask for possible measures and costs BEFORE you order.
Note that all of our pipes are made for "regular pipes" with a standard exhaust nozzle. If Frank Turbines are used, the mounting position is very different.We strongly advise to contact the engine manufacturer before ordering a pipe. He has to tell you the exact mounting position. Remember that the wrong mounting position can cause extreme underpressure inside the pipe, wich can cause a collapsing. For this reason, we do not give any warranty on our pipes, if a turbine with a long inner exhaust cone - like the Frank turbines- is used !
