These centering rings are for our INTERMEDIATE II jet pipes ( 70-130N )
It happens, that formers in an existing model do not have the right shape or diameter to support the rear end of the jet pipe propperly. Be it an EDF to turbine -conversion, a model that requires a bigger turbine/ jet pipe or a repair, a new jet pipe support is needed. This is a awkward job and we have seen homebuilt versions that either looked awful, or did not consider the aerodynamical requirements at all. This was calling for a professional solution, that allows you to center a jet pipe in a minute. Our new centering rings are SUPER LIGHT and come with fixing screws. The four slots allows adjusting of the ring prior final glueing it i place. Another use case of these rings is, to support long and heavy pipes at half of their length, to avoid damage from high G-forces during landing. Also, some models feature detachable rear fuselages that require a second jet pipe support. Weight : 6,5 grams only
