These centering rings are for our JP-40 jet pipes ( 40-80N )
It happens, that formers in an existing model do not have the right shape or diameter to support the rear end of the jet pipe propperly. Be it an EDF to turbine -conversion, a model that requires a bigger turbine/ jet pipe or a repair, a new jet pipe support is needed. This is a awkward job and we have seen homebuilt versions that either looked awful, or did not consider the aerodynamical requirements at all. This was calling for a professional solution, that allows you to center a jet pipe in a minute. Our new centering rings are SUPER LIGHT and have four slots that allows adjusting (using little screws), until the final position is found, to glue them in place. Another use case of these rings is, to support long and heavy pipes at half of their length, to avoid damage from high G-forces during landing. Also, some models feature detachable rear fuselages that require a second jet pipe support. Weight : 4,5 grams only
