The P-59 Airacomet is scaled at 1/7, giving a wingspan of 1980 mm and a length of 1668 mm. The model features a very scale like surface, detailed with rivets and panels. It is an ideal entry level scale jet and flies very well. An adequate engine is a Jets Munt VT 80, or similar. The take off weight is about 8000- 10000 grams. Glass fibre parts are grey painted. Wings are very highly prefabricated featuring ready hinged ailerons, ready made servo boxes, servo lead channels, prepared retract mounts. The elevators are detachable and ready hinged aswell. Other parts are a CNC cut former set, wing plug ins servo mounts, a detailed canopy with separate glass fiber frame,ect.
The model has large wheels and a wide track, making it an ideal grassfield flyer.
A modification to use electric ducted fans is possible using our glass fibre EDF duct - see accessories.
